I left school in 1978 and started as an apprentice sheetmetal worker, I was in sheetmetal work for 8yrs.
After various other work over the years I eventually thought about coming back to working with metal, I can still remember William Dronsfield saying to me when I left school, get a trade under your belt you never know, it’s always something to fall back on and how right he was!
Also Youtube has a lot to answer for this venture too!
In 2013 I started looking at CNC Plasma tables, one thing led to another and before I knew it I was designing my own machine.
